WHEN teenage music sensation Justin Bieber joked that TV reality star Kim Kardashian, 13 years his senior, was his girlfriend she was besieged with messages from his angry fans. Now the pair have been captured hand-in-hand, cavorting in the ocean, splashing each other, at a holiday paradise in the Caribbean.
Just what will Bieber's fans do now? Kim, at 29, may seem too old for the 16-year-old Justin, but judging by the pictures you'd not think so. Thankfully the cavorting is work. Kim and Justin are both staying at The Cove Resort at the luxurious Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Yesterday they were mobbed by crowds as they took part in a photoshoot and some filming at the exclusive resort.
The two walked into the sea in evening dress, laughingly splashing one another as they played up to the cameras.Kim has made her admiration for the singer clear after meeting him at the 2010 White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, DC. "I officially have Bieber Fever!!," Kim tweeted. The Baby hitmaker returned the compliment by posting a picture on his Twitter page with the accompanying message: "Look its my girlfriend Kim Kardashian".
The joking declarations of love led to trouble for Kim. "I was getting the craziest messages from all of the Bliebers. And so I was Twittering him, like "hey Bliebs, this is crazy, getting death threats from your fans.'" Kim said. "I think they were 10-year-olds that got carried away, so he asked all his Bliebers to stop attacking me."
