Paris Hilton will serve a year of probation and avoid a felony charge after she struck a plea deal with prosecutors in Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Paris will plead guilty to drug possession and obstructing and officer (both misdemeanors) to avoid two consecutive six month-sentences in the Clark County Detention Center.
Instead, according to the paper, she will get a year of probation and also must complete a drug abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and serve 200 hours of community service. Paris was busted back on August 27 after cops found her in possession of less than a gram of cocaine.
