The 29-year-old reality star attended a function at the White House in Washington D.C. with the 16-year-old Canadian pop star and actress Demi Lovato at the weekend.
While there, she posed for a picture with Justin, which he later uploaded onto the internet with the caption: “Look its my girlfriend kim kardashian (sic).”
Kim was thrilled with the image, and posted it on her own Twitter page, with the message: “Hanging out with my new love. I officially have Bieber Fever!” But the playful messages have outraged Justin’s hordes of passionate female fans, who have sent Kim hundreds of messages telling her to stay away from him.
Kim and Justin have been jokingly romantically linked since the young singer revealed Kim was his celebrity crush in a recent radio interview. Kim responded, saying he was much too young for her, but offered to set him up with her younger sister Kendall.
