Red carpet has been rolled out in front of the Arclight Hollywood Cinemas on Thursday, March 25 for the Los Angeles premiere of "The Last Song".

Stealing the spotlight for the evening was leading lady Miley Cyrus. The 17-year-old looked stunning in her one-shouldered black leather dress and black platform pumps.

Joining her on the red carpet was co-star and boyfriend Liam Hemworth, who looked sleek in his Calvin Klein's black button-up and tie with a grey blazer.

The twosome made use of the special screening event to make their red carpet debut as a couple as they stood close to each other and posed for the press line.

However, they didn't stay together for long. When making her way into the theater, Miley admitted to have lost Liam. "I lost him so he's not being the best boyfriend right now.

The teen star told Marc Malkin of E! News. "The whole deal was we were going to be walking together, but then I lost him first thing because he started saying hello to everyone."

Miley was also spotted hanging out with sister Noah Cyrus, brother Trace Cyrus as well as mother and the film's producer Tish Cyrus. Fellow Disney stars and "High School Musical" co-stars, Ashley Tisdale and Monique Coleman, were among the celebrity guests showing their support.

Also joining the festivity were director Julie Anne Robinson, writer Nicholas Sparks and producers Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot. Miley's co-stars, Greg Kinnear, Kelly Preston, Carly Chaikin, Melissa Ordway and Hallock Beals, were present for the premiere event as well.

Adapted from Nicholas Sparks' upcoming novel, "The Last Song" centers its story around a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. During her summer stay, she meets a successful beach volleyball player, who has his dream set on the Ivy League, and develops romance with him. This movie is set to hit theaters across the U.S. on March 31.
